The M20/20 team want to invite all attending delegates to the closing party which will take place within the venue @ The Old Truman Brewery, at the end of play on the second day of the Summit.
It is an opportunity to relax, network, unwind and meet each other over some amazing cocktails and canapés, with a music provided by one of New York's coolest DJs, DJ Trauma.
About DJ Trauma: Jamal Reid, AKA DJ Trauma, has cemented himself as one of New York City's most sought-after DJs. For more than a decade he has remained a fixture among the club circuit, deejaying parties for some of today's hottest celebrities, including Alicia Keys, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna, Trauma's passion for deejaying stems from his coming of age in New York City, the epicenter of hip-hop culture and the capital of the music industry. Trauma grew up in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, where, as a young DJ, he spun at house parties and local events before heading to Washington D.C., to attend Howard University. In D.C. he further honed his skills by spinning at popular clubs, concerts, and shows.
As Trauma's career developed, he landed coveted gigs on BET's 106 & Park and VH1's Love and Hip Hop. He became the resident DJ at Barclay's 40/40 Lounge during the Brooklyn Nets' 2014–2015 season and performed at events for Patti LaBelle, Spike Lee, and Aretha Franklin. His client list has included Adidas, China Airlines, Citi Group, Essence, and MTV. In 2014, he won Global Spin's "Open Format Breakthrough DJ of the Year" award.
Trauma credits much of his success to providing one-of- a-kind experiences to the people who attend his events. That was certainly the case when he was asked to spin at Al Sharpton’s 60th
birthday party, the wrap party for Celebrity Apprentice, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem's annual Vision Gala.
With his Traphouse NYC brand, Trauma is now looking to bring a new level of sophistication to New York City events. Traphouse hosts exclusive invite-only parties at secret locations, regularly
drawing more than 500 influencers, creatives, and artists such as Manolo Rose, Tyson Beckford & Kehlani all of whom partied at Trauma’s Traphouse in Brooklyn this past year.
In addition to Trauma’s current residencies in NYC, He often travels around the world including: Dubai, London & Belgium. Follow Trauma on social media at @DJTraumaNYC.
